From autumn 2023 to spring 2024, each HEI held various think tank sessions. As an integral part of the think tank sessions, each university developed a suitable and appropriate mentorship programme to support young researchers pursuing socially engaged research approaches in their work. The formats ranged from science pubs and hybrid sessions to online sessions. All think tanks had in common that potential synergies with any existing mentorship programmes or similar structures were examined first and afterwards the objectives and framework conditions for a mentorship programme were defined. The results are HEI-specific mentoring approaches.
