About
BL-SER Self-Reflection Tool
BL-Social Engaged Research (SER) is a self-reflection tool tailored for early career researchers (ECRs) keen on exploring, comprehending, and enhancing their engagement with societal actors, particularly with non-academic audiences. This tool serves as a clear framework, guiding ECRs through identification, prioritization, and action planning in specific key areas of engagement, based on the BetterLife standards. It supports the identification of strengths and weaknesses and fosters discussions on engagement efforts. The BL-SER self-reflection tool is designed to support the understanding of the requirements for engaged research while assessing and monitoring the individual efforts in the engagement activities. With the results obtained from the tool, ECRs will be able to better communicate their engagement efforts and achievements to others and develop a path to improve their engagement in research.
The BL-SER Self-Reflection tool serves as a comprehensive analysis tool for individuals, supporting the assessment, and improvement of their engagement activities in research, fostering a culture of continuous growth and impact.
